Exercise is something Alicia has always been passionate about. After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology at Brock University, she completed a post graduate program at Niagara College in Exercise Science for Health and Performance.
As a Certified Exercise Physiologist and group fitness instructor, she has been working in the health and fitness industry for over 6 years. Alicia's experience includes sport specific training, team training, aquatic training, rehabilitation and fitness education workshops.
Alicia's fitness philosophy is to continue to challenge oneself, set goals and never stop learning. She is a true believer that fitness can become a lifestyle; you just have to find the right style for your life!

I grew up playing many sports which led to fitness becoming a normal everyday activity. Although, my first interest in teaching fitness came from my experience working as a lifeguard. I became a certified Aquafit Instructor at the age of 19!

I love bringing people together for classes or training sessions to not only show them what they are capable of but help them set and achieve personal goals.

I mostly work with individuals who are new to the gym or have not worked out in a while. I also have a lot of experience working with seniors ages 80 and up who have extremely low mobility or dementia.
