Malcolm Sanderson

BKin(Hons), MScPT — Physiotherapist

Malcolm grew up in the Niagara Region and obtained his Bachelors in Kinesiology from Brock University. During that time he competed on Brock Powerlifting team, and worked in various research labs focusing on strength training. Malcolm continued his education at the University of Toronto and completed his Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree. Throughout his time at UofT, Malcolm worked in a variety of therapy settings, including inpatient rehab, outpatient orthopedics, and oncology.

Since then, Malcolm has pursued additional education in concussion rehabilitation through Concussion Rehab Works. He believes strongly that strength is for everyone and is passionate about helping his patients improve their health through movement. Malcolm has a special interest in working with pre-operative and post operative ACL reconstruction patients and helping them along the journey of returning to their sport/activities.

When he’s not in the clinic or at the gym, Malcolm can be found cruising the Niagara region on his road bike, or in a local coffee shop with an Americano in hand. Malcolm is excited to be at ProActive Centre and is looking forward to working with and treating the members of his community.
